Pawnshop After Dark Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy for Pawnshop After Dark

Effective date: August 20, 2026
Last updated: August 20, 2026

DigitalBox Studios (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Pawnshop After Dark (the “Game”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Game, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

1. Information You Provide

The Game does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, payment details, precise location, contacts, photos, or other directly identifying information.

Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not receive your local save file.

2. Analytics Information

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Game is used and to improve gameplay, balance, stability, and performance. Firebase Analytics may process:

  • a randomly generated app-instance identifier;
  • app interactions and lifecycle information, such as first launch, sessions, screen views, and app updates;
  • gameplay events, such as starting or resetting a run, completing a day, buying or selling a virtual item, price and margin values, item rarity, and unlocking in-game content;
  • app and device information, such as app version, operating system, device model, language, install source, and general technical information; and
  • approximate region derived by Google from a masked IP address. Google Analytics states that it does not log or store IP addresses.

We do not set a Firebase user ID, and our Analytics events do not include your name, email address, or other direct identifiers. Android Advertising ID collection and personalized-advertising signals are disabled in the Game.

3. How We Use Information

Analytics information is used to measure engagement, understand which features are used, diagnose gameplay and balancing issues, improve the Game, and maintain aggregate statistics. We do not use Analytics information for personalized advertising.

4. Third-Party Service Provider

Analytics information is processed by Google through Google Analytics for Firebase. Google may process information on servers located outside your country. For more information, see Privacy and Security in Firebase, Google’s Privacy Policy, and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by Google as our analytics service provider, by service providers acting on our behalf where necessary to operate the Game, or when disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Advertising and Purchases

The current version of the Game does not display third-party advertisements and does not process real-money purchases. Currency, prices, trades, items, and content packs shown inside the Game are part of the fictional game economy unless a future version clearly states otherwise. If these practices change, this Policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated.

7. Data Retention and Security

Analytics information is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and Google’s applicable retention policies. We use reasonable measures to protect information, and Firebase encrypts Analytics data in transit. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your Choices, Rights, and Data Deletion

You may limit device-level analytics identifiers through your device privacy settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal data.

To request deletion of analytics data:

  1. Email digitalboxstudios2@proton.me with the subject “Pawnshop After Dark data deletion request”.
  2. State that your request concerns Pawnshop After Dark and include any app-instance identifier or technical details available to you. Do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.
  3. We will confirm the request and delete Analytics records that we can reasonably associate with the supplied identifier through the tools available from our analytics provider.

Local game progress and settings can be deleted by clearing the Game’s app data or uninstalling the Game. We do not receive that local save data. Because the Game does not use accounts or set a Firebase user ID, we may be unable to associate Analytics records with a specific person without sufficient technical information. Aggregated or de-identified statistics that can no longer be associated with a device, and records we must retain for security or legal compliance, may be retained.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Game is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect directly identifying information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, our services, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date.
